Boston Opera Collaborative is thrilled to collaborate with a team of young Boston filmmakers on an exciting project featuring some of the most beloved and beautiful arias from the world of opera. Each aria serves as the inspiration for a new and contemporary story on film.
Under the leadership of award-winning director Nora Jaenicke, Ms. Cooper and the BOC creative team have adapted the aria “Caro Nome” to a modern short film about a young woman whose love story takes an unexpected turn. Tune in to enjoy this and other delightful vignettes featuring the talented members of the BOC artist roster.
How it works: This production will be performed online over three evenings. Each evening will feature 3 short films along with conversations with the filmmakers, singers and creative team.
